“We are so happy to be recognized statewide as one of the best places to work,” said Dan Thurman, East Idaho Credit Union’s president and CEO. “It’s amazing to see the culture we’ve built and the welcoming environment we’ve developed for our employees.”

The local credit union based in Idaho Falls took the second place prize at the 2020 awards announced Thursday afternoon. This marks the sixth straight year East Idaho Credit Union has been recognized as one of the best places to work in Idaho. They placed first in 2019 and 2018, were fourth in 2017 and took home honorable mention honors in 2016 and 2015.

“We have Nerf wars, too,” jokes Thurman. “In all seriousness, we focus a lot on employee engagement and doing the right thing for them and our members. We are truly honored to be recognized again this year.”
